RELETEX - ABOUT HOW IT WORKS

A Prescription Grade Nausea Relief.

No drugs. No Interactions.

Reletex® is the FDA-cleared, prescription-only wearable your provider prescribes when nausea is getting in the way.

Reletex® is a prescription transdermal neuromodulation device applied to the underside of the wrist. It emits electrical pulses that stimulate the underlying median nerve. These generated neural pulses interact with the CNS and emetic center in the brain to modulate the signals causing nausea and vomiting.

FDA-CLEARED

30+ CLINICAL STUDIES

OUR STORY

Trusted in Hospitals for Over 30 Years

In 1990, Stanford physical therapist Larry Bertolucci developed the first non-invasive, wrist-mounted neuromodulation anti-nausea wearable. Using this same technology, the patented and clinically proven Reliefband® device was released for clinical use, and more than 150 hospitals began using this easy-to-use wearable. The technology received FDA approval in February 1998 for RX and 1999 for OTC.

Endorsed by the medical community, this wearable device has been life-changing for millions of people suffering from nausea over the past 20 years.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

How it works

Reletex® is a prescription transdermal neuromodulation device that is applied to the underside of the wrist. Reletex emits electrical pulses that stimulate the underlying median nerve. These generated neural pulses interact with the CNS and Emetic Center in the brain to modulate the signals causing nausea and vomiting.

Step 1

Find the correct area on the wrist to position the Reletex®

Using either wrist, locate the area between the two tendons on the underside of the wrist, about two finger widths above the distal wrist crease.

Step 2

Apply gel to wrist area intended for neuromodulation

Apply gel and rub to form a thin, even layer with a sheen-like appearance.

Step 3

Attach to wrist

Place the device over the gelled area and attach it securely to the wrist.

Step 4

Activate

Turn the device on and increase the power setting until stimulation is felt at a comfortable level.

Clinical Studies

Reletex® patented P6 median nerve acustimulation technology has been evaluated in clinical studies published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including research examining its effectiveness in relieving nausea and vomiting.
